‘Don’t need Perfection’ was created instantly amid the ‘Released by Reality’ album release tour in Bali and Lombok, followed quickly by the making of the video clip in Gili Trawangan. Ray D’Sky felt this special Island not only reflected the beautiful nature of Indonesia, but the atmosphere also represented the message of this song.
‘Don’t Need Perfection to be Happy’ embodies the message of taking, living and enjoying life as it is.

‘Released by Reality’ contains lyrics in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, allowing people from all backgrounds to understand and share Aray’s musical vision and lyrical messages. Eight songs are in the English language, 2 in Bahasa Indonesian, and one song uses a combination of the two. During a series of life changing events, Aray put into place steps and actions to construct a more easy going, positive and comfortable lifestyle, which the musical maturation of this album clearly reflects. The ideas and songs in this album have been developed and collected over this time frame, and ‘Released by Reality’ was finally released on November 5 2009.
